One motive of domestic violence is to gain control over one’s partner. Domestic violence has different levels of severity. There are also differences in how often it can occur.
Signs of domestic abuse:
-depression
-anger issues
-substance abuse
-low self-esteem
-unemployment
Repeated physical harm can cause many health issues. The stress of being abused may also have physical effects.
For Survivors:
No one deserves to be abused. The abuse is not your fault. You are not alone.
